The Powerstroll S-Drive by Drive DeVilbiss will turn most wheelchairs into power chairs. It takes the strain out of pushing a heavy wheelchair, travelling up and down ramps as well as uneven surfaces. Its unique one click docking station allows the conversion of a manual wheelchair to a power chair, controlled by an attendant.
The Powerstroll S-Drive is supplied with a metal bar that attaches to the rear of most wheelchairs. The unit clicks onto the rear bar of the transport chair or wheelchair. The hand control has variable speed dial, forward/reverse function, illuminated battery gauge and fingertip trigger control.
The valve regulated sealed lead acid battery pack is airline approved, but you should always check with the airline before making your travelling arrangements.
Available at both standard weight capacity of 135kg (21st) – this includes the wheelchair and user combined, and heavy duty model – weight capacity 180kg (28st) – includes both the user and the wheelchair.
